Planning Division
The Morris County Planning Division is one of five divisions of the Morris County Department of Planning & Development. It provides support staff for the Morris County Planning Board.
Sections
The Planning Division is comprised of two sections:
Land Development Review
This section is responsible for reviewing all land development applications for conformance with the County Land Development Standards, preparing an annual development report and updating the Official Map of the County.
Special Projects/Long Range Planning
Responsibilities include developing County Master Plan Elements, filing and review of municipal master plans and zoning ordinances, and disseminating demographic and economic information. This section also provides staff support for Cross-Acceptance of the New Jersey State Development and Redevelopment Plan, other regional planning efforts and special projects.
