Emergency Shelter Grant

ESG is a reformatted version of the former Emergency Shelter Grant, which was modified as a result of the Homeless Emergency and Rapid Transition to Housing (HEARTH) Act of 2009. The new formula grant program provides assistance to organizations serving persons experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

For Program Year 2009, the County received $99,683 in Emergency Shelter Grant funding.
